Why We Need a Safety Town

Community Collaboration

Recognizing the need for a safety program tailored for children in our city, members of the Painesville Lions Club took the initiative to bring this vital program back to life. Partnering with dedicated city leaders and safety experts, the Painesville Lions worked tirelessly to launch a successful pilot program in the summer of 2024, offered free of charge to all participants. Building on this success, we are thrilled to continue this initiative in 2025.

My son had so much fun participating in the different activities that Painesville Safety Town had to offer throughout the week, especially the daily time on the course and the vehicles that stopped by.

Working with the children at Safety Town and seeing how they responded to the leaders and activities was very rewarding. I came away each day with the feeling they were really understanding the importance of safety.
